TEHNE:YAT

This series of paintings emerged from a set of 50 pieces when I was working with large canvasses, where the colours, textures and hues occupied a prominent voice in the canvas. Compared to the previous Jackson Pollock like series where the canvas was covered in colour from edge to edge. It was about finding breathing space within the canvas. In this series, I am playing with space and colour, allowing the vibrant hues to reflect and speak for themselves against the backdrop of expansive space.
